Hi all. It has been a while since I posted a blog and I apologize for that. My office took a two week holiday mid-July and I'm just getting back into the swing of things. Mind you, with the weather reaching the 30s this week, I'm not going to deny the fact that it's hard to stay 'focused' in my home office when the outside is so close!
Another windy day...let's move on from that (arrrgg)...

As I sit here on this quiet Sunday, after shoveling this "wonderful" dump of snow in mid-March, doing some laundry and reading small snippets of updates about the virus, the markets, etc on the news, I've decided we are going to implement our own strategies around my office to help contain whatever might be lurking around us.
The coronavirus or COVID-19 has officially done what the markets absolutely hate. It's created uncertainty and volatility and 'turmoil'. In case you didn't know, markets HATE uncertainty.
I have read and was told a long time ago that the bank works for the bank. Bank employees are often awarded for the amount of assets that they bring through the doors and I wonder sometimes if people understand that not always are they doing what's in your best interest. I have examples.
