Happy trails...

I have some sad (for me and you) and yet good (for Gail) news to share with all of you.

First of all, Gail is one of my very good friends and she is one of the best people you could ever meet and say you are friends with. I am lucky to have that privilege.

I am happy to be able to announce that she is moving on to a new endeavour. I have been fortunate to have Gail work with me in my business since March 1, 2016. She had experience in the industry, she's caring and she was absolutely wonderful with my clients. I and my clients are going to miss her around here. Her last day in my office is Thursday March 29. She is moving on to be the bookkeeper/business manager at the Moose Jaw Cultural Centre and she is very excited about her new role there. Please join me in wishing her all the best. The good thing? She's only just across the street ... :)

I am now looking for a part-time admin assistant and I hope to have this new person start very soon, sometime in April. If you know someone whom you think might be interested in a part-time role, you can email me at dawn@dlsolutionsforyou.com. I will be keeping you all posted with my new hire when that person falls into my lap. Because of course, that's what is going to happen!

Further, I just wanted to update you on some office closure dates coming up. 

Friday, March 29 - Good Friday

April 11-18 - Holidays for me. Gail is going to help me cover the office in the mornings while I am away. Needless to say, if anything is required, I'll still have access to my emails and phone and can help from 'afar'. 

I'm also scheduled to be out of the office tomorrow (Friday March 23) for a board meeting in Regina. However, if this weather gets nasty like it says it might, I'll be working from home.

Please help me in congratulating Gail on her new position with the Moose Jaw Cultural Centre. I'm going to miss her!
